March Beauty Favourites
March has been so busy that I actually forgot to keep a list of the products I've been loving! However a quick scan through this month's posts and recent purchases left me with the following list of products that have definitely been most used and loved this month.
Aesop Parsley Seed Facial Cleanser - £25
An undisputed favourite this month, I could write an ode to this cleanser. It leaves my skin so clean, soft, and clear. Aesop's skincare products are killing it for me right now, and I've been using this cleanser on a daily basis. Needless to say my skin has really calmed down this month and I've had very few breakouts, due definitely in part to this godsend. Not cheap, but the quality of this cleanser makes it worth every penny.
MAC Eyeshadow in Charcoal Brown - £12.50
I'm planning a post dedicated to this product in the not so distant future so I'll keep this review short and sweet. A spot-on match for my eyebrow colour, this is my new holy grail product when it comes to filling in my eyebrows. The last is incredible even on the days I forget to apply brow gel, and it creates a much more natural look than any eyebrow pencil I've ever used.
MAC Lipstick in See Sheer - £15
Ever since I started watching Mad Men I've been lusting after a coral lipstick. I picked this one up for my birthday but have been wearing it so much over the past few weeks. See Sheer is the perfect spring colour, and not too bright (for some reason it looks red in this picture but in reality it is a light coral, I promise). I love MAC's Lustre finishes, they're really buildable, but a single coat blends really well with my natural lip colour for a more everyday subtle look.
Bumble & Bumble Prep Spray - £16
Designed to enhance the benefits and last of styling products, this plus Bumble & Bumble Surf Spray creates the perfect beachy/surfer chick waves, even in my super thick long hair. Whilst I find that Surf Spray works really well on its own anyway, it seems to work 84893987 times better when I use it with Prep Spray. The waves last a lot longer and neither product leaves any residue or crispiness. The dream team.
Body Shop Camomile Silk Cleansing Oil - £10
I've been hunting for a budget cleansing oil ever since reading Caroline Hirons' posts singing the praises of oils. A few years ago I wouldn't have dreamed of letting an oil get anywhere near my face, but right now I can't get enough of this stuff. I use it as the first step in my makeup removal, it breaks down foundation and eye makeup really well and is just such a pleasure to use. Silky is the perfect description, it smells heavenly, and has a gorgeous warming effect upon application. Who needs a facialist??
