MAC Fleur Power Powder Blush

SONY DSC I've been on the hunt for an everyday, natural looking blush for a while, and found my answer on the shelves of my local MAC store. Since starting to wear foundation I've become aware of the need to add a little colour to the cheeks to prevent myself from looking washed out (the perils of being pale). At the same time, I certainly don't want to look overly made-up, OTT blusher is one of my pet peeves. Whilst I do have a penchant for coral, I didn't want anything too orange toned, but something really natural and subtle, that would suit my very fair complexion and be ideal for everyday use.

A bit of Googling bought Fleur Power out as a winner. MAC describes it as a 'soft bright pinkish coral', and to look at in the packaging it is just that. However, upon application it is much less 'bright' and 'coral'. If you're looking for a natural blush that doesn't look like you're wearing make up then this is great. I apply with the Real Techniques Contouring Brush, which actually does the job really well. You don't need a lot of product if 'eau naturale' is the look you're going for, a little goes a long way! In general I find Fleur Power lasts a few hours without touch up, but certainly not a whole day. Luckily MAC's cute compacts are easily transported, the perfect handbag addition.

If you're looking for a natural everyday blush and don't mind splashing out £18 then I strongly recommend you check out Fleur Power. I'd definitely look into getting blushes from MAC again, but in the meantime, any cheaper 'natural' blush recommendations/Fleur Power dupes?
