WEEKEND RITUAL #28 : SPRING FEVER
The sun finally seems to have made its SS'15 debut up north, and yesterday marked the official start of spring [!!!]. I don't know about you but I can't wait to feel the heat of some summer sunshine - I'm counting down the days until I get to laze poolside! The sunnies have resumed their reign as handbag staple, and somehow the fact that Manchester has been bathed in sunshine has made me fall in love with the city all over again [despite the fact that my favourite juice/fro-yo bar has closed down - what's a girl to do??].
There's nothing quite like starting the week with a facial, so after an afternoon experiencing the Eve Lom Ultimate Cleanse Treatment at Harvey Nichols [more to follow on this at a later date] I was feeling more than ready to tackle the hectically busy week ahead. With end of term essay deadline's looming, I seem to spend every spare moment frantically jotting notes, or with my head in a book, so some much-needed friend time was high on my agenda. Wednesday was a huge girlie day with two of my favourite gals [read : a self-led food/beauty hall tour of the city], and Thursday involved a wonderful catch-up with Jen and Rebecca, involving yet more food [see below for the round-up!].
Pancho's Burritos Home Sweet Home [best and biggest slices of cake in the city] Moose Coffee Bill's Grindsmith [check out that adorable macchiato above]
Beauty updates from this week : A change of season calls for a change of fragrance, so this week I've been spritzing my favourite summer scent - Acqua di Parma's Ginepro di Sardegna*. It's probably a bit of a premature choice for March but I can't help but want to channel those summer vibes when the sky is such a glorious shade of blue!
I hope you're all having a wonderful spring-weekend!
