Stop Then Shop : RMK

Officially my 'brand to watch in 2015', I was blown away by RMK after a recent visit to their Manchester counter [details here] and have spent the past six weeks fooling around with some bestsellers from their collection. Japan's number 1 makeup brand have earned a cult following in their homeland and have been causing excitement amongst hardcore beauty lovers in the UK since their Selfridges-based counters first opened in 2003. Add these favourites to your beauty shopping list, and prepare for true love...

Cleansing Balm For a luxurious and indulgent cleansing experience, look no further. RMK's rose-scented balm is enriched with essential oils which provided the perfect balance of care and repair to every skin type. Leaving skin soft and supple, calming redness and inflammation, and delivering a powerful blend of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants - an ideal first step towards better skin. I adore the concept of balm cleansers and this is my absolute favourite as it's both mess and fuss free - transforming from a solid balm to a thick oil upon application, and washing away without leaving a trace of residue.

Matte Mascara* A luxurious mascara if ever there was one. Everything about this mascara, from the brush shape to the formula, has [and meets] a specific purpose. Bin your falsies; for last, volume, and length are a given - this mascara strengthens and protects lashes, delivering volume from the very roots and separating lashes with a definition like no other. Here's the proof.

Nail Colour* If [like me] you're fussy when it comes to finding the ideal nail colour shades then RMK have a range will leave you experiencing severe indecision. And for those who seek something a little extra from their nail polishes - the RMK formula is enriched with macadamia oil to nourish and protect your nails. What's not to love? This grey-toned nude is eerily similar to my Essie favourite, Sand Tropez, and packs some seriously strongly pigmented punch.

Crayon & Powder Eyes* Now you all know of my love for a good eyeshadow pencil, but here is one with a difference. This sleek silver tube has a soft, creamy crayon at one end [think matte and highly pigmented] and a sponge applicator at the other which dispenses a fine, shimmery setting powder. Together the two can be blended [incredibly easily] to create anything from an intense smokey eye to a subtle contoured look or a bright, shimmery effect. The crayon also works fantastically as an eyeliner, and looks amazing when smudged along the lower lash line. All of the benefits of an eyeshadow quad, but in pen form. Swoon.

Matte Shiny Cheeks Blusher* For the days when juggling bronzer, blusher, and highlighter is a bit much - RMK have released a limited edition range of cheek colours which combines the benefits of all three. Whether you add a subtle injection of warmth and colour to your cheeks with just a light dusting, or use to contour a more defined look, you can expect a soft sheen and a luminous glow in seconds.

Have you experienced RMK, and if so what are your picks?
