WEEKEND RITUAL #18 : SUNDAY FEVER
So, what's new??
Well, this week marked my last (for the time being) as a city girl. Moving back to the countryside may not have featured on my pre-existent five year plan, but what would life be without it's unexpected twists and turns??
I took a leaf from my own book, and handed in my notice at my day job (which if anything taught me that time is of the essence) - after all, life is too short to spend 35 hours a week being unhappy. From now on I'll be investing my time and energy into my degree, my online content, and my career plans. And I'll still be commuting to Manchester for lectures and to visit friends so the big city buzz will remain!
I don't know about you, but I'm excited.
I'm also undergoing a BIG sort out of all of the paraphernalia I've managed to compile in my 21 (nearly 22!) years on this planet. I've always been a bit of a hoarder but I'm in the process of revamping my room and minimalism is set to be the theme. I'm planning on being uncharacteristically ruthless (and hopefully making a few pennies on eBay in the process).
In the meantime, let us remember that is is of course SUNDAY. So for now we'll set aside all thought of sorting and tidying and instead, RELAX. Today's agenda involves a laze of epic proportions. Think : SATC marathon, cashmere pyjamas, homemade waffles, a Diptyque candle (or two), and a skincare lineup curated with GLOW in mind.
What's your Sunday plot?

+ I enjoyed this thought provoking post from London Beauty Queen on the future of the blogging world. + + The Debrief shared an insightful and refreshing piece on friendship - a really different way of looking at relationships but one which totally makes sense to me. + + + Did you know that the government classes sanitary towels as a "luxury" item but crocodile meat as an "essential"? Sign this petition to put a end to taxation of sanitary products. + + + + If you work in an open office then you might enjoy this article from The Washington Post. The concept doesn't get criticised a lot so this was a really interesting perspective! + + + + + I adored this Nars Smokey Eye tutorial, doesn't that palette look perfection!? + + + + + This piece from The Debrief (yes again!) on miscarrying at 21 was super moving but so eloquently written. Well worth a read.
