WEEKEND RITUAL #11

It's that time of the week once again where I wish you a HAPPY WEEKEND - hallelujah!

Yesterday's antics were spent indulging in the better half of the retail world at the Mecca of the North (aka. the Trafford Centre). I made a grand start upon my Christmas shopping (and may have added a few little extras to my lust list), and am feeling truly festive after spending a few hours surrounded by frantic Christmas shoppers and the Trafford's glitzy interior.

If treating your loved ones/self to something luxe or some darn good deals then be assured that the big guns have well and truly joined the (festive) party. Selfridges, Boots, John Lewis, and Topshop once again fail to disappoint when it comes to filling the empty space beneath your Christmas tree, and (for the beauty lovers amongst you) the likes of Chanel, Dior, and YSL have some dreamy gift-wrap options...

Naturally a day of retail therapy has left me in need of a different kind of therapy - the type which involves loungewear, face masks, and bath salts of the most luxe variety.

DO NOT DISTURB.

Beauty updates from this week : I parted with my Boots' points (£40! - *insert clapping Emoji*) for a treat from Chanel so I've been sporting a simple smokey eye à la Tissé Mademoiselle with a nude lip c/o my Tom Ford favourite (Vanilla Suede). I've also been layering on the hand cream (Byredo La Tulipe) - the winter chill has well and truly hit, and can only be braved when cosied up in my faux fur stole and muffler.

There's a haircut on the agenda for this week. I'm planning on chopping my Rapunzel locks (21 inches!) into a chic and choppy long bob (a length I haven't experienced since my pre-teen years). It's going to be tough but I've been mulling a change for months and just fancy something a little different - wish me luck!

Here's to hoping your Sunday is set to be every bit as relaxing as mine!
