September Style Picks
Zara Flowy Trenchcoat I may have only owned this coat for a matter of days but time is no obstacle to true love, right?? I'm a fool for a trench, and when one glimpse of a garment excites you enough to chase its owner down the street to ask after its origin, purchase is a no-brainer. As always with Zara, the fit and cut are spot-on, it looks great worn loose and when buttoned up, and I LOVE the cape detail at the back.
Opaque Tights THREE CHEERS for everyone's favourite autumn staple. To be honest, opaque tights are a year-round hero in my wardrobe, but come autumn I no longer have to guilty about sporting them on a daily basis. These + my Bally boots = ALL THE AUTUMN FEELS. (Oh and M&S really do make the best).
Whistles Misty Trapeze Knit A cream knit has been on my wishlist since last winter but I'm super fussy re. knitwear so my search had (until now) proved fruitless. However, one late night perusal of the Whistles website threw up this complete utter darling. In the sale. And sold out in all sizes but mine. That's a sign right?? It's insanely soft, comfy, and easy to wear. So much so that I could quite easily sleep in it (but it's hand-wash only which, quite frankly, terrifies me).
Zara Checked Miniskirt A sale purchase which wouldn't have been an obvious pick for me, but which I have ended up wearing SO MUCH. I usually tend to wear plain skirts/bottoms, with more interesting/detailed tops so the pattern and beaded detail have brought something a bit different to my wardrobe. Paired with opaque tights and a cosy knit makes for an autumn staple.
What are your autumn style picks??
