Sunday Stuff #4

Processed with VSCOcam with a5 preset My first Sunday home was celebrated in style with a long overdue bath, a stack of unread Vogue's, and some new Lush bath goodies. I've been dreaming of this bath for weeks so it was planned well in advance! After ten weeks of showers and a long day of travelling there was nothing I needed more than a long hot bath. Lush kindly sent me some treats from their new Easter range, and as everyone knows, the best baths are Lush baths. Brightside Bubble Bar* was the most deliciously refreshing orange-scented product. I'm not usually a big fan of citrus scents but I think they must be growing on me because I loved this product. What I love most about Lush's Bubble Bars is that you don't have to use them all at once (as with a bath bomb), you simply crumble your desired amount under the tap and voila, orange coloured bath water and a plethora of bubbles. I was so excited to be sent a slice of Carrot Soap*. If you haven't seen this in store I sincerely urge you to go in and marvel over a giant carrot made of soap with a cute bunny running through the centre. It also smells amazing,  fresh and tropical but with a warm, homely vibe.

No bath is complete without a candle, right? This beautifully presented offering from The White Company's new spring collection (Rose Signature Candle*) has a gorgeously rich rose scent with hints of jasmine and lily. It's not too over-powering which I'm glad of as I always think rose scents can sometimes be a bit granny-ish/headachey. However, granny-ish this most certainly is not. Perhaps it's the notes of jasmine and lily, but I would certainly class this as a 'contemporary' rose scent. Light and fresh but classic.

Whilst my Vogue subscription automatically downloads onto my iPad (meaning I can read it at uni), there is nothing better (in my opinion) than the feel of a fresh glossy magazine in your hands. I love coming home to a stack of unread magazines, and so the latest Vogue (feat. Kate Moss) joined me in today's bath. I've been obsessed with Vogue since I was about 10 years old and subscribing for almost as long. I know everything in it is ridiculously unaffordable but for me it symbolises the dream, and for that and the hour of escapism that my bath with Kate provided, I love it.

Right now The Body Shop's gorgeous Cocoa Butter Body Lotion* is my go-to post-bath indulgence. It smells delicious, warm and creamy but fresh. The kind of scent you can wear all year round. I love how smooth and soft this leaves my skin feeling, and that the scent lingers for hours after use.

I'm currently obsessed with this beautiful baby blue nail polish from Topshop, Bashful*. I've always been super impressed with the application, formula, and last of Topshop's nail polishes and Bashful does not disappoint. I'm really digging the pastel trend and have accumulated a number of baby blue items (both fashion and beauty) in recent weeks.

I love this Murad Intensive-C Radiance Peel* for times when my skin is feeling a little dull and tired. It always feels and looks brighter and more "awake" after use. It is quite strong though so I always follow it up with the Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask - the perfect antidote to dry, dehydrated skin.

If you're loving my new blog design (as I am!) I'd really really appreciate it if you could nominate That Grace Girl for 'Best Designed Blog' in the Company Style Bloggers Awards!
