That Grace Girl gets a makeover!

It's been a very exciting week for thatgracegirl.com what with my little blog's first birthday on Sunday and today's launch of my lovely new look site! I've been wanting to redesign my blog for a while after being on the same basic Wordpress template since I started out blogging a year ago. Whilst I initially loved the template I was using, as I attempted to make my blog look a little more 'me' I can across a lot of restrictions concerning the design aspect, and that was something I really wanted to play around with.

Luckily for me I have a web designer/developer boyfriend, and Danny was keen to design for me my own bespoke blog theme once he'd learnt the ropes of Wordpress coding. I had a rough idea in my head of the kind of theme that I wanted, so after making a few simple sketches (and an inspirational Pinterest board) I left the rest of the work in Danny's more than capable hands. The beauty of this site is entirely down to Danny, he made the magic happen, and in my opinion it is a true work of art. We are both super proud of it, and I could not be more than happy with the outcome. It's exactly what I envisioned and more.

So this week marks the start of a new era for That Grace Girl. Turning one, a gorgeous new design, and from now on expect to see new posts every other day! You can also expect to see an increase in posts to  the 'Fashion' category as well. You asked for 'em, so you're getting 'em. Once again I would like to say a massive thank you to all of my readers, without whom this blog would not have grown as it has (if you want more cheese read my last post). On a final note, I would absolutely love if you could nominate That Grace Girl in the Company Style Blogger Awards for 'Best Blog Design'. The site has been a labour of love for both Danny and I and it would mean the world to us if you could nominate and share the love!
